Leaders in Exceptional Care for Individuals with Disabilities

With over five decades of combined experience in developmental disability services, the visionary founders of Penn Residential—Clyde, Jeremy, and Bill—established the organization in 2011. Their deep understanding of the industry revealed a critical need for high-quality residential care tailored to children, adolescents, and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Motivated by a shared passion for making a lasting difference, they set out to create a model of care that elevates standards and improves the lives of those they serve.

Recognizing the unique challenges faced by individuals with disabilities, Penn Residential was built on a foundation of compassion and innovation. The founders envisioned residential group homes that would provide not only a safe and nurturing environment but also comprehensive, individualized support services. These homes were designed to foster personal growth, skill development, and a strong sense of community, ensuring residents could thrive and experience a fulfilling life within their local communities.

Today, the leadership team at Penn Residential works closely with our dedicated direct support professionals and experienced nurses to bring this vision to life. Through collaborative efforts, regular training, and integration of best practices, the team ensures services evolve to meet the changing needs of residents. This approach enables the organization to remain a leader in innovative developmental disability care. Rooted in a mission to empower residents, foster independence, and cultivate happiness, Penn Residential continues to provide an environment where individuals with intellectual and developmental challenges can achieve their full potential and lead meaningful lives.
